There are Boards of Studies in each discipline/subject or a group of allied disciplines/subjects in the various Faculties under the university. The Board comprises the Head of the Department as the Chairman, all professors in the department as members, one faculty member nominated by the Dean of the Faculty and experts nominated by the Director General.
