DJ S4DS

Society for Data Science (S4DS) is a non-profit professional association that creates a collaborative platform for bringing together technical experts across Industry, Academia, Government Labs and Professional Bodies to promote Innovation around Data Science. IT was founded in 2017, with the vision of empowering people in the field of Data Science through spread of knowledge and wisdom in an intelligent environment to improve life, business and government and prepare tomorrow’s data science researchers to address grand challenge problems.

At D. J. Sanghvi College of Engineering, the students of Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science) have formed their students’ chapter "DJS-S4DS” in association with S4DS from the academic year 2021-2022. The objective of the student chapter is to provide a collaborative learning platform beyond the curriculum for the students of various branches in the field of Data Science and Computing. Each member of the DJS-S4DS will be given the opportunity to interact with industry and academicians, to participate in various technical and non-technical events, challenges and to share their research work on international platforms.
